A couple more leathers from the previous batch...

The textured tan is rich in color and textured. This leather will get softer and age nicely through the use. It will develop great patina.

Textured Tan ($69)

This is another popular style of ours, the JV Style Nubuck in Mustard. The lighter shade of color goes well with any dial and case finish, brushed/polished steel, PVD, DLC. It could add different mood to your strap collection!

Here're some more pics of the Olive and Light Tan Suede on dark background to illustrate the real color of them. Some asked if the Olive looks so tan. I'd say it has some tan shade in it but the real color is olive which will get darker and more green when it ages. It'll look awesome in the end and develop great patina!

Welcome to Greyhound Straps Territory!! :D

Hello strangers,

I and my buddy decided to have some space on the wide wide cyber space world for our own. If you come to this blog then I assumed you already know what we're doing! Yes!, we make watch straps! not the best in the world but of course our straps are cool!

I and my buddy have been into the watch world (well, I dragged him into it with me :P) quite a while. Our primary common watch passion is about Panerai, a tough-look tool watch brand from the Italians. We've been revolving around Panerai, trading in and out several PAMs. One thing that this brand is famous for is the easy change-of-look system that facilitate the owner to swap the straps easily to change how the owner would like the watch to look like. It can look tough, vintagized, or dressy. It became an addiction soon enough. I didn't notice anything until I have more than 10 leather straps while I only got one watch. Yeh, it's that crazy and it's not cheap! So i figured why not make it myself specifically to my liking.

One day I decided to do the strap by myself from scratch. Trial & errors was my method. Punching my fingers, stitching my nails, and some cuts on my skin instead of the leather hides were common things I've encountered. :D .....not long after that, I decided to quit and I really did.

Until I and my buddy reconsidered the options we have after we were relocated back to our home country, Thailand, we can manage to build the straps on our own specs and leather hides. We started to go shop for the beautiful and unique leather and have it transformed into some nice leather straps for the watches and decided that we could offer some affordable straps to the world to pass on our good finds of leather.

Here're some formal words from us....

Today, we're happy to announced our own strap brand, "Greyhound Strap" that I and my buddy are starting. We're trying to find some interesting leather and offer to you all at the affordable prices. Our straps are hand-made with machine stitching for the neat look with the usual feel of hand-made goods. No straps will ever look and be the same that is. I just want to offer something different since we have so many great strap makers who do the super great hand stitching already! wink.gif
We carefully select the leather that is unique in characters at the affordable price point. I'm involved 100% in the leather selection and make sure the straps are good before they are going to meet you guys in person and my partner is so good at building straps. I used to make straps myself so you can be sure I know what I'm doing. Anyway, we're still at the beginning and we appreciate any feedback from you all.
Thanks all,
Voot & Co.

So it has begun....  Greyhound Straps!!, Greyhound Straps!!, Greyhound Straps!!
